In loving memory of Francis, the Reilly family invites you to join them in a heartfelt initiative to commemorate his passion for the arts, wonder, and creativity. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Francis' name will provide invaluable arts access to students facing financial barriers at the renowned Stella Adler Studio of Acting.
About Francis Reilly:
Francis, born in Queens, NY, on December 18, 1942, left an indelible mark on all those around him. He was a true lover of the arts, discovering his passion for theater, TV, and film at a young age while working on stagecraft at Garden City High School.
After earning his BA from Pace University and an MA in Communications from NYU, Francis embarked on a diverse career journey. He started as a Wall Street financial editor, transitioned to real estate assessment, and ultimately found fulfillment as a dedicated educator in the NYC Public Schools, concluding his career in District 10 in The Bronx. Upon retirement, he fulfilled his lifelong dream of delving into acting at the Stella Adler Studio, marking two decades as a background actor in various television shows and movies across 11 counties.
Honoring His Legacy:
To pay homage to Francis' vibrant spirit and enduring love for the arts, we are raising funds to support aspiring artists in collaboration with the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. Your contribution will empower students facing financial obstacles to pursue their dreams in the world of theater and acting. As a cherished father, husband, teacher and forever friend, nothing would make him more proud.
